The municipality of Jezero signed Memorandum of cooperation with the Mozaik Foundation

On March 07, 2018, the municipality of Jezero and the Mozaik foundation from Sarajevo signed Memorandum of cooperation, which will be realized in the period from March to December 2018, within which it will contribute to the establishment of the Youth Bank Jezero and the development of social entrepreneurship of young people.

The Mozaik Foundation through the Omladinska Banka program in the period 2008-2017 supported 1,735 projects of informal youth groups in 38 partner municipalities, and the total value of the projects is 6.3 million KM (of which about 52% were provided by young people through the mobilization of local resources). 20,935 entrepreneurial volunteers had 735,000 volunteer hours so that 730,500 users directly had the benefits from the projects. Through this incubator of social business, the last two years have supported 14 start-ups and social businesses for young people.

On behalf of the municipality of Jezero, the Memorandum was signed by the Mayor Snežana Ružičić and on behalf of the Mozaik foundation by the Director Zoran Puljić. At the initiative of the trainee of the unicipality, Esma Ribić, the municipality of Jezero was visited by the Director of the Youth Bank Program Željko Pauković, and the young coordinators of the Youth Bank in Šipovo, Đorđe Kokošar, and Srbac, Sanja Koljić, who gave us details in detail about the functioning and success of the Youth Bank. The goal of signing the Memorandum is to create an incentive environment for the development of social entrepreneurship for young people.
