Working meeting in the municipality of Jezero on the topic of rehabilitation of the dam in the river Pliva

On July 20, 2020, at the initiative of the Mayor of Jezero, Snežana Ružičić, a working meeting was held in the Municipal building, which was attended by the Mayor and representatives of the Municipality of Jezero, director of the fish farm "Janj" d.o.o., Zoran Tepić , urban and construction inspector, Milan Kačar, technologist, Dejan Trivić, and a representative of the Public Institution "Vode RS", David Latinović.
The topic of the meeting was the issue related to several reports of citizens regarding the rehabilitation of the dam in the river Pliva by the company "Janj" d.o.o. Banja Luka, which has a registered work unit Fish Farm in the municipality of Jezero, the rehabilitation was carried out several times without notice from the material that the municipality considers should be pulled out of the river. Although representatives of the Republika Srpska Inspectorate and representatives of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management were invited, they were not able to attend this meeting.
The municipality has sent a clear position to start preparing documentation for the reconstruction of the dam in accordance with the applicable environmental regulations, as well as to obtain clear amounts of cubic meters of water used in the water intake for the pond.
Also, the municipality will send an emergency and forward it to the competent ministry regarding the regulation of concession fees urgently and for Ribnjak "Janj" as an interested party in this case to adjust its opinion to the legal framework and the attorney's office.
