On March 20, 2018, the Mayor of Jezero municipality, Snežana Ružičić, attended the RB-COSOP Workshop of Strategic Country Program based on results for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As part of a continuous process in the International Fund for the Development of Agriculture to improve the overall performance and impact of IFAD's operations in partner countries, as well as the emphasis on managing results and impact, and in an effort to comply with the Paris Declaration principles, the IFAD delegation stayed in Bosnia and Herzegovina to carry out an overview of the results of the Country-Based Strategic Opportunities Program (RB-COSOP) for the period 2013-2018 and propose a possible extension until 2021. This delegation reviewed the government's priorities elaborated in the strategies of agriculture and rural development and sought to identify the key barriers faced by rural households and small agricultural producers.
In the area of Jezero municipality, the IFAD project is implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republika Srpska and the Agency for Coordination of Projects. Based on the results of the workshop, Jezero municipality, after the construction of the infrastructure, the Ljoljići road through the IFAD project, is going to the second phase of the IFAD.
