Support to the municipality of Jezero through the project "EU for better civil protection"

On August 13, 2020, at 12:00 in the Municipality of Jezero, the awarding of planning documentation and accompanying equipment for the Municipality of Jezero was held, as follows:
- Dell Laptop (HSPIRON 15-3565),
- Dell Monitor (E1916HV),
- HP Desktop PC
- Keyboard, mouse with pad,
- Laptop bag,
- Fire risk assessment and fire protection plan prepared in accordance with the laws and bylaws of the Republic of Srpska, and European methodologies,
- Assessment of vulnerability to natural disasters and other accidents and the Protection and Rescue Plan prepared in accordance with the laws and bylaws of the Republika Srpska, and European methodologies,
- GIS database.
This is the Project "EU for Better Civil Protection - Capacity Building and Preparation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Civil Protection Mechanism of the European Union", and 15 municipalities in BiH are included, including the municipality of Jezero.

As part of the Project, the Research and Development Center (IRC) was selected as a service provider for the preparation of planning documentation for the needs of municipalities in the Republic of Srpska.
Implementation of project activities of defined priorities of the project "EU for better civil protection" will significantly improve the status of the protection and rescue system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will create conditions for accession to the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, especially flood risk assessment in the north and fire in the south States. The implementation of all planned activities will reduce the sensitivity on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will create conditions for BiH's accession to the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism.
The total value of the project is € 1,498,800.
