"Rhythm of Europe"


Audition for the music competition "Rhythm of Europe" was held in the premises of the Elementary School "Vuk Karadžić" in Jezero, and a media presentation of the representatives of our municipality was held on April 13, 2021 year,  in order to promote the municipality and representatives of the municipality of Jezero in the largest children's television music program and this type of competition in Europe.

The competition is designed as Eurovision for young people, Cities and municipalities of Republika Srpska will represent some of the European countries at this event, and the contestants will sing in different European languages. The representative of the Municipality of Jezero is Dražena Nikolaš, she will represent Israel with the song "Set Me Free" which will be performed in May, at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. The media presentation was attended by the director of the television program "Rhythm of Europe", Igor Karadarević, as well as the mayor of Jezero, Snežana Ružičić. "Rhythm of Europe" is the largest children's music competition in the country, intended for contestants aged 14 to 21, children and youth of the Republic of Srpska, who have top talent for singing and dancing. Support to children and youth of Srpska through this the largest television format of its kind in the country is also provided by the ambassadors of the countries of Europe, the European Union, Australia and Israel. The best of the best will have the opportunity to hone their top talent for singing and dancing during seven months of preparation, with voice coaches as well as artistic directors of the stage performance of the "Rhythm of Europe" program.
