Ceremonial delivery of rafting boats for municipalities of Jezero and Jajce

Ona February 17, 2020, Jezero Municipality was visited by the delegation of Council of Europe, lead by Head of Confidence Building Measures Division of the Council of Europe's Directorate of Political Affairs, Anna Capello. On that occasion, the ceremonial delivery of fully equipped rescue boats was completed. The boats were purchased through the project for intermunicipal cooperation of Jezero and Jajce "Purchase of rescue boats". It was financed by the fund of Council of Europe in the total amount of 6,000.00EUR for both municipalities.

The event was also attended by the representatives of Jezero and Jajce municipalities, member of Association of Firefighters Jezero and representatives of Civil Defence Jajce.

The Mayor of Jezero Municipality, Ms. Snežana Ružičić, said that the purchase of the boats is of great importance for safety of citizens, especially because of the often flood in the area of the municipality and that the boats will be useful for Association of Firefighters Jezero and Civil Defence Jezero.
